The Daily Express reports:
The Muslim Council of Britain said Mr Robinson "does not represent our Armed Forces, however much he tries to claim otherwise".High profile ex-UKIP member, Godfrey Bloom, thinks the British Army has got its priorities all wrong.
"He will rile against the very real steps taken to make the military more diverse.
"He will remain silent on the sacrifices Muslims and others made in the two World Wars.
"We welcome the swift statement by the Army in disassociating itself from the far-right and we hope that safeguards are put in place to ensure that Islamophobia will have no place in our armed forces."
UKIP Leader Gerard Batten commented:
"British Army cadets are brave patriots who have made the noble decision to fight for Queen and Country.
"Tommy Robinson has put his life and liberty on the line campaigning against the worst excesses of literalist Islam and these cadets recognise that. It's a disgrace that the military establishment has once again caved in to pressure from the cult of political correctness and has ordered an investigation. By calling Tommy Robinson 'far-right' the military demonises anyone who stands up to defend Western values.
Gerard Batten was asked to appear on Sky News to discuss Tommy Robinson's photo with British Army cadets."Any disciplinary action against these cadets will send a clear message that our military establishment no longer stands for defending the values which made our country the greatest in the world."
