Police Brutality at the London DFLA March

The Democratic Football Lads Alliance (DFLA) held a march in London on October 13, 2018 in protest against; returning Jihadists, muslim rape gangs, veterans treated like traitors, the knife crime epidemic, the cost of austerity, police cuts and the weak sentences given to paedophiles. All of which can be blamed on Theresa May and her useless government.

The march was to follow a pre-arranged route agreed weeks in advance with the Metropolitan police. It was to start in Park Lane, continue along Piccadilly, St James Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and end in Whitehall where a speaker platform had been erected.

The march began with everybody in good humour until the march reached Pall Mall. Halfway down Pall Mall the police stopped the march as it was heading straight towards a large group of Antifa protesters who were blocking the road. Newspaper reports claim there were about 2000 anti-fascists organised by the trade unions, Stand Up To Racism and Unite Against Fascism, with some wearing face masks. The police probably underestimated how big the anti-fascist turnout would be and were unable to prevent them from blocking the road, although some people say the police allowed them to do it deliberately.

The DFLA march was stopped about 300 yards away from where the anti-fascists were standing. Out of frustration some DFLA members pushed through the police line. One policeman, in particular, starting lashing out at DFLA members with his truncheon, which was completely unnecessary as at no time was he under any sort of physical threat.

Eventually the march was redirected and the marchers continued to their destination in Whitehall.
