An Update from Tommy Robinson after his Facebook Ban

After his recent ban on Facebook, Tommy Robinson has posted a lengthy video on YouTube in which he attacks the BBC and far left group Hope not Hate, and insists his activism will continue even if YouTube bans him as well.

In the above video, he accuses Facebook representatives of taking advice from Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation, in getting him banned from Facebook. This is the same Mohammed Shafiq who in 2014 was accused of whipping up hatred against Majid Nawaz, the founder of the Quilliam Foundation, because he tweeted a cartoon of Muhammed and Jesus. As a result of Shafiq's actions Nawaz received death threats. This raises the question: why is Facebook reportedly taking advice from someone like Mohammed Shafiq?

Tommy Robinson accuses the establishment and social media giants like Facebook of collaborating with Muslim radical groups in pursuing an agenda which will result in the replacement of the British people and their culture.

He insists that banning him from Facebook will not stop him:

"In the first three months of the formation of the EDL I was arrested and my home was raided three times. You thought that would stop us, it didn't.

"You then imprisoned me on a bogus mortgage fraud charge. You thought putting me in prison and locking me in a room and having me beaten near to death by Muslim prisoners would stop me, it didn't.

“You thought deleting us from Twitter would stop us – it didn’t.

“You thought removing our PayPal account would stop us. It affected us, they stopped our donations by 70 per cent. Did it stop us? No it didn’t. We just produced the most professional exposé on the BBC this country has ever seen.

"If you think deleting us from Facebook or Instagram will stop us… no it won’t.”

As well as losing the ability to fundraise through PayPal, in January Mr Robinson lost a valuable revenue stream when YouTube suspended all adverts on his channel.

He also said he was considering organising a demonstration against Tech companies with others who have been banned from Facebook, and personally appealed to Donald Trump for help.

“Donald Trump – if you don’t step in now, the platforms and the voices that share the truth of what they are doing are being removed across the world. People have to speak now.”

He said over 100,000 people have signed up at his new website www.tr.newsin the last 24 hours. The website is currently a work in progress.
